A lovely family in Stanford‑le‑Hope, Southend‑on‑Sea, is seeking a Part Time, Two Day Week Sole Charge Nanny to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for a 1‑year‑old child, ensuring safety, developmentally appropriate play and learning activities.
- Plan and support activities such as painting, music, walking, group play, reading and interaction to promote growth.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the child.
- Perform light housework during the child’s naps, including emptying the dishwasher, basic laundry and tidying.
- Accompany the family on walks with a friendly Labrador; driving is a bonus but not essential.
- Maintain a calm, friendly, and engaging home environment and become a valued member of the family.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years professional nanny experience caring for children under 2.
- Enhanced DBS certificate and 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid certificate are essential.
- Childcare qualification (Level 3 Diploma or equivalent).
- Ability to perform light housework and prepare meals.
- Optional driving licence – a bonus.
- Provide two professional referees, one of whom must be a current or former employer and must be immediately contactable.
Hours & Compensation:
- Working hours: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
- Annual salary: £10,400 gross (£15 per hour).
Location: Stanford‑le‑Hope, Southend‑on‑Sea.
