A lovely, warm and down-to-earth family based in Shoreditch are looking for a wonderful, qualified nanny to join their family on a part-time basis, working Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 8pm to look after their little girl who will be 12 months old when the role commences. The family are ideally looking for someone to start on 18th January, allowing for a week’s handover with Mum before she returns to work from maternity leave.
The salary offered for the position is £28 gph which equates to £23,296 gross per annum.
The baby will attend a wonderful local nursery just a stone’s throw from the family home. The nanny will arrive at the house at 4pm and initially focus on light housekeeping duties relating to the baby and family, including family laundry, tidying, sorting of the babies toys and clothes, preparing food for the baby and generally ensuring everything in the house is kept organised and running smoothly.
At 6pm, the nanny will pick up the baby from nursery, which is just a one-minute walk from the house, and bring her home. The remainder of the evening will involve caring for the baby and carrying out her evening routine, including dinner, bath time and bedtime, before the parents return home and take over.
The family are looking for a qualified, gentle and nurturing nanny with excellent baby experience. A strong understanding of age-appropriate milestones, development and routines will be essential, along with a genuine passion for childcare and a desire to become a valued part of the family. There are no pets, there’s no travel involved and no driving required, although there is a car to use if needed while on duty.
