A warm and welcoming family of five based on a private estate in West Berkshire are seeking an experienced Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household team and help ensure the smooth running of their busy family home.
The household already has a Head Housekeeper, and this position will work alongside them to provide consistent housekeeping cover across the week, including weekends, as well as childcare support for the family’s children.
This is a varied, hands‑on role combining high-standard housekeeping with childcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised and well‑presented home, alongside providing attentive, engaging and reliable care for the children. The role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is confident balancing household responsibilities with family support.
The family are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, reliable and discreet, with a flexible, can‑do attitude and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Head Housekeeper and wider household team.
Previous experience in a private household or high‑end property would be advantageous, alongside experience caring for children. A full, clean driving licence and confidence driving children to school or activities are essential.
