A Part Time Hands-On Nanny/housekeeper is needed for a lovely family in Maldon, Essex. This is a permanent sole charge position with hours: Monday 8.30-4.30, Wednesday 8-5, and Thursday 8.30-4.30, with flexibility paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Support home educating two children aged 6 and 4, including educational trips to the zoo, gym classes, sports clubs and other curriculum-based activities.
- On Wednesdays: drop off at forest school, then housekeeping tasks (cleaning, laundry, shopping) and collection at the end of the day.
- On Thursdays: take the children to an activity club and stay with them there.
- Provide a fun, active, hands-on approach while creating an educational and nurturing atmosphere in partnership with the parents.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NVQ level 3/NNEB minimum requirement, but flexible if the nanny has substantial experience.
- Minimum experience: 2 years.
- Enhanced DBS, up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate (or equivalent), and Ofsted registration (or willing to register).
- Driving required with own car.
- Two professional references, with one from the current or last employer, all contactable.
- Possibility of right to work checks and registrations, with openness to video registrations or digital identity checks where appropriate.
