A lovely family are looking for an experienced newborn care professional to provide overnight support with their 3 week old baby while Dad is away for work.
The ideal candidate will be up to date with current NHS guidance and safer sleep recommendations and will be confident providing calm and reassuring overnight support to both Mum and baby.
The baby is currently mixed fed and thriving and is beginning to settle into a better rhythm. The family would particularly value someone who can offer gentle and practical advice around newborn routines, settling techniques and sleep habits, while understanding that a young baby’s routine will naturally develop over time.
The role is initially for specific nights, with the potential for additional evenings in the future. The family may occasionally like some support so they can enjoy an evening out, so a candidate who has some flexibility would be particularly helpful.
This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced newborn professional to support a new family during those early weeks, providing practical help, reassurance and guidance as they settle into life with their new baby.
Job Start Date: ASAP
Contract End: 10weeks but could extend
Location: Altrincham, Cheshire
Gross hourly Rate: £25ph gross
Hours of work: 9pm -7am
Nights required: Tuesday and Wednesday
Specialist or expert required: Certified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner Certificate (L3 minimum).
