A lovely family based in Pimlico are looking for a warm, reliable, and fun nanny to provide primarily after‑school care for their 4‑year‑old son, who will be starting school in September. The role will begin on 1 September and the family require care from 3 pm – 7 pm, four days per week, with flexibility around which days are worked. There is also the opportunity for additional hours during the school holidays, as well as the option to take on housekeeping duties on two mornings per week for a nanny seeking more hours.

Responsibilities

  • School pick‑ups and drop‑offs
  • Taking the child to local activities
  • Cooking for the child and preparing snacks
  • Laundry and maintaining the child’s rooms tidy
  • Additional housekeeping duties as needed
  • Ensuring the child’s safety and well‑being at all times

Terms and Conditions

  • Work hours: 3 pm – 7 pm, minimum 4 days per week (flexible)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as child care or nanny
  • Enhanced DBS certificate, registered on the update service
  • 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate
  • References: minimum 2 professional referees, one current or former employer, immediately contactable
  • Willingness to abide by a 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate requirement
  • Ability to have cat in house (pet tolerant)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
