This is a busy position in a large family home, with a real mix of duties. Mum is at home, but will also need to be in London at times. She likes to do most of the school runs for the older two children, however the nanny will need to do the drop offs/pick ups when required. The family have cleaners, however other housekeeping duties will be needed such as organisation, bed linens, laundry, keeping the home tidy and staying on top of things. No deep cleaning required, as this will be handled by the cleaners.
The family are looking for a very confident driver on country roads. An automatic nanny car will be provided. The right candidate will be energetic, very proactive, confident and outgoing. The children are very well behaved, have lovely big personalities and would like someone who is lots of fun to join their family.
The right candidate will have a childcare qualification, and have good experience in a nanny housekeeper role. The family are looking for someone who is happy to muck in and really become part of the family team. They need someone who is a good and confident cook, some batch cooking for the weekend may be required.
On occasion the family will ask the nanny to babysit or proxy parent overnight for them. As much notice will of course be given, and this will be paid in addition to your normal salary. There may be occasional times the family will ask you to join them on holiday, though they do not expect this to be a lot.
