Full Time live‑in or live‑out nanny housekeeper role in Milford on Sea, SO41. The role involves caring for three children aged 4, 6 and 9, and maintaining the family home. The family offers flexibility in hours.
Responsibilities
- Childcare: Drop children off at school, pick them up, provide transport to extracurricular activities, supervise play, assist with homework, prepare meals, help children get ready for bed.
- Housekeeping: Daily cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking/food preparation, running errands, maintenance of children’s rooms and common areas. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays (term time) full‑time housekeeping duties. During holidays, increased scope for planning activities and outings.
- Other duties: Overnight proxy parent every Tuesday night throughout the year, regardless of living arrangement.
Hours and Schedule
- Term time (33 weeks): ~43 hrs/week. Typical Monday: 7–8.30 am & 2–7 pm. Tuesday: 6.10 am–7 pm. Wednesday: 7 am–8 pm. Thursday: 7–8.30 am & 3–7 pm. Friday: 7–8.30 am & 3–7 pm. Also available to finish earlier on Friday or adjust Tuesday teaching duty.
- School holidays (19 weeks): ~62 hrs/week. Typical Monday: 7–7 pm. Tuesday: 6.10 am–7 pm. Wednesday: 7 am–8 pm. Thursday: 7–7 pm. Friday: 7–7 pm.
- Days required: Monday to Friday. One overnight proxy parent every Tuesday.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in a nanny/housekeeper role.
- Pediatric first aid training required.
- Childcare qualification is a bonus.
Driving
- Must have valid driving license. Nanny car supplied for live‑in; driveway for live‑out.
Pay
- Live‑in: £15 gross per hour (£41,669.90 per year).
- Live‑out: £18 gross per hour (£49,483.88 per year).
- Salary based on annualised hours, paid monthly.
