Responsibilities
- Provide general child care including nappy care and following nap routines.
- Prepare food in accordance with Mum’s instructions.
- Encourage developmental milestones and set up age-appropriate play/activities.
- Handle baby’s laundry, tidying and cleaning baby areas, toys and dishes.
- Feed and care for three indoor cats that are part of the household.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience caring for children, including a baby in a similar role.
- Experience in a nursery/childminding setting or previous nanny duties.
- Qualification in childcare (Level 3 or above) is desirable; Ofsted registration preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Paediatric first aid certification is required.
- Must be able to drive; a nanny car will be provided if required.
Working Hours & Payment
- Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm or 10 am-6 pm.
- Pay guideline of £18 per hour, 40 hrs/week, £720/week, £37,440 gross/annum.
- Permanent role.
Other Information
Position starts on 1 July 2026. The first two months will involve shared care with Mum while she completes maternity leave; from September the nanny will be sole charge.
