A wonderful part time live-out nanny position has become available, working with a professional and friendly family who live in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. You will be looking after two delightful little girls aged 4½ years and 16 months.
Hours: The hours of the role are Monday, 13.00-18.00; Wednesday 13.00-18.00; and Friday 08.00-18.00 (20 hours/week).
Person specification: The family is looking for a reliable, fun, bubbly and active nanny who can join their happy family. They want a nanny who will fit well into their lives, be a team player, a good communicator, creative and with a real interest in child development and childhood milestones.
Children and activities: The children are active and enjoy trips to the park and country walks, as well as indoor activities such as arts and crafts, imaginary games and reading stories.
Responsibilities:
- Nursery duties including general childcare, the children’s laundry, and keeping their bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised.
- Support with household tasks to help keep the home running smoothly (there is a weekly cleaner). Tasks may include keeping the kitchen tidy, emptying the dishwasher, and running occasional errands.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for the children, preferably homemade. The house is dairy free, and you should have full knowledge of weaning and potty training.
- Oversee bathtime and leave all used rooms tidy at the end of the day, ready for the parents to take over.
Travel, driving and mobility: Careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
