A fantastic part-time live-out nanny opportunity will be available from April 2026 with a warm and professional family based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The role will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care. You will be caring for two cheerful and energetic children – a little girl aged 2½ years and her younger brother, who will be one. The family also has a friendly golden retriever, so a love of animals is essential.
What you will do:
- General childcare
- Children’s laundry
- Tidying and organising bedrooms and play areas
- Preparing uniforms and belongings for the following day
- Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals for the children
- Supporting weaning and potty training
- Managing bathtime and keeping any used areas clean for the parents
- Helping with light household tasks such as tidying the kitchen, loading the dishwasher, or running occasional errands
A confident, safety-conscious driver with a clean licence is essential; a car will be provided for use during working hours.
Schedule:
- During term time (34 weeks): Monday to Wednesday, 14.00 – 20.00 (18 hours week)
- During school holidays (18 weeks): Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 18.00 (45 hours week)
- Ad-hoc additional hours and evening babysitting may be required by mutual agreement and will be paid as overtime
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum experience level: Two years
- Qualifications: Level 3 childcare if possible; experience essential
- Training: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12-hour paediatric first aid
- Driving required: Yes, duty car provided
