An amazing full time nanny opportunity has become available to work with a professional and friendly family living in Taplow, Buckinghamshire. This family is looking for a highly trained nanny, with a minimum of five years of nanny experience, working with two or more children at home. The salary is negotiable if you are a Norland trained nanny. A Polish speaking candidate would be advantageous.

They would like a nanny who is kind, caring, active and energetic to start working with them as soon as possible. The family is fit and active, they like to spend time outside – enjoying walks and swimming. This role would suit a nanny looking for a long term position. You will be taking care of a little boy aged five and his sister aged three. Mum will work from home most of the time, in a separate area. Dad has a busy role outside the home.

You will need to be flexible, as the role will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care with Mum. You will also be working alongside a weekend nanny, so someone who is happy to work as part of a team would be ideal. The role could be either live out or live in – if live in, there is a brand new fully equipped annexe with a private entrance for the nanny to use.

You will be required to work Monday-Friday, 10.00-19.00, with a little flexibility. The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of educational and stimulating indoor fun (reading stories, sensory play, singing, age-appropriate games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park.

They would also like you to meet up with friends for play dates, groups and activities to allow their children to mix with other children, ensuring that they are happy and safe at all times. The family live in a stunning large new build house. It has a fabulous garden with play area and a swimming pool, so a love of swimming is essential.

As the family employ a cleaner, the role will focus on nursery duties only. As well as general welfare of the children, these duties are to include the children’s laundry, keeping the kitchen, their bedrooms and playroom tidy and organised. Keeping the house running smoothly would be appreciated, unloading the dishwasher, tidying rooms used at the end of the day, running occasional errands, etc.

You will be a confident cook and provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks each day, homemade from fresh ingredients as often as possible. Batch cooking would be appreciated, making sure there is plenty of food available in the freezer for the parents to use for the children at the weekend.

You will need to be a careful and confident driver, with a clean licence. There will be a fully insured car available to use on duty. This is a wonderful position that would suit a dedicated and professional nanny who is looking for a long-term commitment.
