Job Overview

A fabulous two-day, live-out sole charge nanny position has become available, working with a professional and welcoming family in Weston Turville, Buckinghamshire. This lovely family is looking for a kind, calm and organised nanny who likes to have fun. You should be a dog lover, as the family has two friendly whippets, who would enjoy a walk when possible.

Hours & Schedule

The hours will be 08.00-18.00 on Tuesday and Thursday (20 hours/week). There could be occasional ad hoc additional hours and for babysitting, but these will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for looking after three happy children – a boy aged five, a girl aged three and their baby brother aged 11 months. The eldest has a diagnosis of autism and is getting on well in mainstream school; SEN knowledge would be an advantage.
• You will have sole charge of the baby and the middle child and will take the older child to pre‑school places a few hours each day.
• The children enjoy clubs and activities such as gymnastics, swimming and music groups; you will organize and accompany them.
• Daily duties include keeping the house running smoothly – nursery duties such as children’s laundry and ironing, maintaining rooms and toys, cooking healthy meals and overseeing homework, uniforms, sports kits or costumes.
• You will end the day with the dinner and bath routine and leave all rooms tidy for the parents’ return.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Experience Level: Two years – SEN experience advantageous.
• Required Training: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12‑Hour Paediatric First Aid.
• No formal qualifications required, but experience is essential.

• Driving Required: Yes – duty mileage to be paid, requires your own car with a clean licence.
