We're partnering with an exciting, high-growth food & drink brand that's continuing to build momentum across both retail and direct-to-consumer channels. With ambitious growth plans and increasing demand, the business is investing further in its Operations function to support the next stage of its journey.

As the business continues to scale, they're looking for an Operations Manager who can help strengthen operational processes, improve visibility across the supply chain and ensure the business has the right systems and processes in place to support continued growth.

Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, you'll take ownership of a broad range of day-to-day operational and supply chain activities, while helping to shape and improve processes as the company continues to grow.

You'll work closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and external partners to improve planning, inventory management and operational visibility, ensuring the business can continue to scale effectively while maintaining excellent service levels.

  • Take ownership of key day-to-day operational and supply chain processes, ensuring the smooth flow of products through the business.
  • Work closely with Commercial teams to understand customer demand, promotional activity, seasonal trends and new product launches.
  • Support demand forecasting and inventory planning, helping the business maintain appropriate stock levels and strong customer service.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement and external manufacturing/logistics partners to ensure operational requirements are effectively planned and delivered.
  • Develop reporting and tools that provide greater visibility across stock, demand, service levels and wider operational performance.
  • Identify potential operational risks, bottlenecks and inefficiencies and proactively develop solutions.
  • Support relationships with key third-party suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers and other operational partners.
  • Help develop and improve systems, processes and ways of working as the business continues to scale.
  • Analyse operational performance and provide clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support wider Operations and Supply Chain improvement initiatives across the business.

Experience in an Operations, Supply Chain, Demand Planning or similar role within a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience within FMCG, food & drink or another fast-moving consumer or manufacturing business.

Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel experience and confidence working with large datasets.

Experience working with ERP, inventory management or supply chain systems.

Strong understanding of inventory, forecasting, logistics and broader supply chain processes.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and external partners.

What we would like to see (bonus):

  • Experience participating in S&OP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
  • Experience using ERP or planning systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Unleashed or similar.
  • Exposure to new product launches, promotional planning and demand forecasting.
  • Experience managing relationships with third-party manufacturers, warehouses, logistics providers or other operational partners.
  • A genuine interest in food & drink and working within a high-growth, entrepreneurial business.
