The London office, located in a bright and beautifully designed space in central London, is home to a multidisciplinary team of strategists, creatives, and producers. We are seeking an ambitious, proactive, and highly organised IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day IT operations in our London office. This hands-on position requires deep technical expertise and leadership across Microsoft environments, network infrastructure, and end-user support.

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and working as part of a global IT team, you'll be the local lead in London, supported by a team of two. Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of IT support for all users in the London office.
  • Manage and resolve service desk requests and incidents across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, network, telephony, and standard applications.
  • Partner with the local Managing Director and other senior stakeholders to align IT priorities with office needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with a focus on long-term solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate service documentation.
  • Provide regular updates and clear communication to the CIO.
  • Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee user account management, system permissions, and GDPR compliance.
  • Identify and track recurring issues, sharing insights with the wider global IT team.
  • Lead IT procurement and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and suggest improvements or new tools.

What the Client Would Like to See (essential):

  • Prior experience in an IT Manager or Senior IT Support position within a fast-paced, professional organisation.
  • Excellent technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, Entra (Azure), Windows systems, and network configuration.
  • A natural problem-solver with strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Someone confident and composed when dealing with multiple priorities or urgent issues.
  • A collaborative communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

What We Would Like to See (non-essential):

  • A proactive, service-oriented individual who takes initiative and gets stuck in – no task is too big or too small.
  • Experience working in a creative, design-led, or professional services environment.
  • A calm, resilient mindset and ability to work independently while being a supportive team player.
  • Willingness to be flexible with working hours when needed to support business continuity.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and a readiness to recommend improvements to enhance IT operations.
