Our client is a fast-growth consumer brand that has scaled at exceptional speed through a combination of strong product, sharp commercial execution, and operational agility. Operating within a highly social, fast-moving category, the business has built significant international demand and established itself as one of the standout founder-led growth stories in the UK.
What differentiates the company is the way it combines creativity with operational discipline. Products move quickly from concept to market, supply chain decisions are made commercially, and the business places real emphasis on speed, quality, and margin as it scales. The environment is hands-on, ambitious, and execution-focused, with senior leadership closely involved in both strategy and day-to-day decision making.
With continued expansion across international markets and product categories, the business is now investing further into its sourcing and production capability, building stronger supplier networks, improving operational infrastructure, and creating a more scalable global supply chain to support the next stage of growth.
They’re now looking to hire a Production & Logistics Manager to take ownership of the upstream supply chain function. This is a commercially focused sourcing role with significant operational responsibility. The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, oversee production activity, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure products are delivered to the required quality standards and timelines.
The position will work closely with operations, finance, and product teams, supporting both ongoing production and new product launches. There is a strong preference for someone comfortable operating directly with factories, both remotely and on-site, who can proactively solve problems and improve supplier performance as the business scales.
Key Duties
- Identifying, assessing, and onboarding new manufacturing partners internationally
- Managing supplier relationships across cost, quality, delivery performance, and capacity
- Negotiating pricing, MOQs, payment terms, lead times, and supplier agreements

- Managing production schedules from PO through to ex-factory shipment
- Coordinating tooling, sampling, and pre-production approvals
- Implementing and maintaining QC standards across all product lines
- Managing factory audits, inspections, and compliance processes
- Supporting new product launches from concept through to production
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing and supply chain operations

- Previous experience visiting and managing suppliers on-site
- Demonstrable success delivering cost savings and margin improvements
- Strong commercial negotiation skills across pricing and supplier terms
- Experience managing production timelines and resolving supply chain issues proactively
- Good understanding of quality control processes and manufacturing standards
- Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced business environment
What We Would Like to See (Bonus)
- Experience sourcing across additional regions including Vietnam, India, or Europe
- Background within consumer products, toys, games, FMCG, or branded goods
- Experience working within a high-growth or founder-led business
- Exposure to new product development and product launch activity
