Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the UK music industry's most exciting, tech adjacent scale ups, as they search for a Finance Director to join their expanding team. This is a newly created position in line with strong growth following a successful fundraise in 2025.
The Business: Led by a senior leadership team of experienced music industry professionals, our client is backed by leading figures in the space. As a tech centric music rights platform, this business empowers artists and producers regardless of status or seniority. There is a values-first approach replicated throughout the team with a defined, common goal culture. As they enter their next year of trading, this is an exciting time to join a fast growth start up with revenue and headcount growth forecasted for the next 2/3 years. Based in central London, the role suits driven candidates keen to progress within a scaling business.
The Role: Reporting into and working closely with two Co-Founders who aim to build one of the leading music rights scale ups, this role offers autonomy and influence as the business continues to scale. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the next phase of growth, with a 2025 fundraise likely to be followed by further investments. As the most senior person in finance, the role blends strategic duties with managing and developing a finance manager in line with the company ethos of internal progression. After benefiting from a strong fractional CFO to date, the team seeks a full-time senior figure to professionalise and scale the finance function, with responsibilities focusing on debt finance management, strengthened institutional reporting, and robust FP&A insights and commercial guidance.
