Assistant Management Accountant | Luxury Consumer Brand | London

This role has been created for someone who currently has exposure to transactional finance and is ready to take the next step into management accounting. You will work directly alongside the Head of Finance, gaining hands-on involvement in month-end and reporting from day one, with a clear path of progression toward a Management Accountant role as the business grows., They are looking to bring in an Assistant Management Accountant who can hit the ground running and contribute meaningfully. This is a hands-on role covering a broad remit across transactional finance, month-end, and reporting. There is a genuine progression route here toward a full Management Accountant position for someone who performs well.,

• Assist the Head of Finance with the production of month-end management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable across both functions
• Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow reporting
• Support variance analysis and contribute to management reporting on a regular cycle
• Maintain accurate financial records and support the year-end audit process
• Produce Excel-based reporting and work within SAP
  3+ years of experience in a finance role with management accounting exposure
• Hands-on experience across both AP and AR
• Experience owning a month-end close process
• Comfortable managing payment runs and cash flow tracking
• Experience in retail, hospitality or a multi-site consumer business
• Exposure to SAP
• Part-qualified (AAT, CIMA, or ACCA) or actively studying
