Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading theatre and live entertainment businesses, in the search for their next Finance Manager, in an exciting new phase of growth for the business.

Having been founded in 2017 by a team of leaders with careers immersed in the industry, our client has scaled significantly year on year, with a strong presence across London's West End in addition to having a footprint across the globe. As a scaling SME, our client is looking to maintain their impressive growth that has led to the group operating across four core divisions. With turnover at circa £120 million and boasting impressive EBITDA figures, this organisation is proud to have retained their core values since inception. The Role:

This Finance Manager role is a newly created position in line with the acquisitive nature of the business in an exciting new period of growth. Working closely as a number 2 to the head of finance, there will be high levels of autonomy and influence on offer, with a focus also on managing and mentoring a junior finance team. The role will be outward facing and will involve business partnering across different departments, fostering a high performance culture, leading on producing management accounts, and supporting on budgeting and forecasting. There will be progression paths on offer for the successful candidate that has a high growth, driven and ambitious mindset.

Main Duties:

  • Manage and mentor team consisting of Assistant Accountants and Management Accountant
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, providing variance analysis and commentary
  • Take full ownership of financial reporting for 3 venues
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Support on annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Business partner regularly to ensure strong relationships with operational department heads
  • Assist on system implementation and migration projects
  • Prepare VAT returns

What we need to see (essential):

  • ACCA / ACA / CIMA Qualified Accountant (Open to Finalist / PQ)
  • Stakeholder management skills

  • Experience in either the retail / entertainment / hospitality industry
  • Personal love of the creative space!

Salary: £53k - £58k + bonus + industry perks

Hybrid: 3 days in the office / 2 days work remotely
