The role suits someone who is equally comfortable managing complex retailer relationships and rolling their sleeves up on more entrepreneurial, sales‑led activity.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer performance to surface new opportunities
  • Support the planning and execution of trade marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for internal and customer‑facing use
  • Represent the brand's values and commercial positioning consistently across all customer interactions

Essential Experience

  • National account management experience within FMCG, with direct ownership of a Top 4 UK grocery retailer
  • Proven track record of delivering against commercial targets with accountability for a P&L
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence buyers and senior stakeholders
  • Analytically capable: comfortable with sales data, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Fluent English

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with a branded food or drink business
  • Exposure to smaller or emerging accounts alongside a major retailer portfolio
