Accounts Receivable | Independent Media/Music Business | Central London
Harmonic are delighted to be working with a global, independent music and media company. With a strong reputation in the space and a growing international presence, they're known for delivering high-quality content across music, media, and entertainment.
As the business expands, they're looking to add a bright, driven Accounts Receivable professional to the finance team - someone who's confident with numbers, comfortable working at pace, and excited to contribute to a creative, fast-moving environment.
The Role:
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of the full accounts receivable function, ensuring cash keeps flowing and processes are running smoothly across multiple international entities. The role is emphasised around building strong internal and external relationships, keeping things organised, and spotting process improvements in a scaling, creative business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the full AR cycle: invoicing, reconciliations, cash allocations, and chasing outstanding payments
- Credit control ownership - regular customer contact and ensuring prompt payment
- Working with commercial and licensing teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition
- Liaising with clients globally - from artist managers to media partners - to resolve queries and maintain great working relationships
- Assisting with monthly reporting, aged debtor analysis, and audit support
- Ad hoc invoicing
- Helping to improve systems and processes as the company continues to grow
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years in an AR role or similar
- Creative / Media / Music experience
- Strong communicator & team player
- NetSuite experience (preferred but not essential)
Start Date: ASAP (max 1 month notice period)
Salary: Β£30-35K + study support
Location: 3 days in office (Central London), 2 days WFH
