We're working with a fast-growing FMCG business with a strong presence in the UK and parts of Europe, particularly within the speciality retail space. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a Finance Manager to step in and take full ownership of the finance function.
This is a hands-on role with real influence - ideal for someone who's detail-oriented, commercially aware, and ready to help shape the next phase of this exciting brand's growth.
The Role:
Reporting directly to a founder, you'll be responsible for everything from day-to-day bookkeeping through to monthly reporting, forecasting, and strategic input. You'll be joining a small, collaborative team that works hard, moves fast, and has fun doing it. This is a hybrid role, with up to 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including credit control
- Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with commentary
- Prepare and update 13-week rolling cashflow forecasts
- Manage payroll, expenses, VAT returns, and PAYE
- Collaborate with leadership on budgets and strategic planning
- Track key metrics (e.g., gross margin, stock turnover) and support stock forecasting
- Liaise with external accountants and prepare for year-end audit
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance across all areas
What We Need to See (Essential)
- At least 3 years in a finance or accounting role
- Strong experience producing management accounts and cashflow reporting
- Proficiency in Xero or a similar accounting platform
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Familiarity with working across multiple currencies (GBP/EUR)
