Harmonic are delighted to be supporting a high-growth Creative Agency with their search for an Interim Finance Manager. The business is part of a wider international group with a strong reputation across branding, digital, advertising and marketing services. With around 50 people in the UK and continued rapid growth, the agency is going through a period of transformation and process development. Initially a three month contract, there is the scope to extend or go permanent. Headquartered in a vibrant Central London location, the agency prides itself on its collaborative, creative culture. The team work on a hybrid basis, with a strong emphasis on in-person collaboration and a sociable working environment.

The Role: This is a key interim appointment, reporting into a highly experienced Finance Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing the last 12 months of financials, ensuring reporting integrity, improving processes and driving commercial clarity. It’s a hands-on role requiring a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional with experience in the creative or agency space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and correct historic management accounts and financial reporting
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the balance sheet and ensure accurate reconciliations
  • Build and implement processes around POs, AP/AR, and spend controls
  • Develop a robust client profitability framework and improve revenue recognition practices
  • Own the production of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
  • Lead improvements to WIP tracking, billing workflows and cashflow visibility
  • Support the leadership team with commercial insights and ad hoc finance projects

What We Need to See (Essential Skills):

  • Previous experience in creative, media, or advertising environments
  • Strong background in financial clean-up projects or interim finance roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience with Paprika

Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: 300 - 400 per day (Outside IR35)
