The Role We re looking for a reliable and experienced Finance Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day finance function.
You ll be leading a small finance team of four, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing, reporting, and compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-focused environment, values control and structure, and is comfortable operating in a business that moves large volumes of money daily.
Responsibilities Oversee and manage the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls are maintained Lead, support and develop a team of four finance staff Prepare management accounts and financial reports Manage cash flow and reconciliations across high-volume transactions Oversee direct debits, payments, and banking relationships Support the year-end audit process Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy What We Need to See (Essential) Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar hands-on finance leadership role Strong staff management and team development skills Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Experience handling high-volume financial transactions Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting Comfortable with direct debit processes and bank reconciliation What We d Like to See (Bonus) Experience in a transaction-heavy or regulated environment Previous experience in an SME or fast-paced business setting Familiarity with accounting systems and finance process automation Package 50,000 - 60,000 per annum (depending on experience) Interested?
