As the business enters a new phase of expansion, they are looking to bring in an Assistant Management Accountant to strengthen the team. This is an opportunity to join a high-quality finance function where the breadth of the role and the pace of the business will offer genuine development for the right candidate.
This role has been created for someone who currently has exposure to transactional finance and is ready to take the next step into management accounting. You will work directly alongside the Head of Finance, gaining hands-on involvement in month-end and reporting from day one, with a clear path of progression toward a Management Accountant role as the business grows.
The Role
They are looking to bring in an Assistant Management Accountant who can hit the ground running and contribute meaningfully. This is a hands-on role covering a broad remit across transactional finance, month-end, and reporting. There is a genuine progression route here toward a full Management Accountant position for someone who performs well.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Finance with the production of month-end management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable across both functions.
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly.
