Head of Finance
The Opportunity
- Head of Finance: £90,000 to £120,000 plus 20% bonus
- Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days home, London
- Newly created role, leading a 12+ strong finance team
- Flexible start, September or October preferred

This is one of the hottest consumer brands in the world: privately owned, highly profitable, and with several hundred people working across the business worldwide.
The product itself is known for its quality and longevity rather than short term trends, which has built a loyal following over many years. The business is several years into a period of sustained growth and is now expanding into new markets across Europe.
The Role
This Head of Finance position is newly created. You will lead a finance team of 12+, taking full ownership of financial control across a multi entity, multi-currency operation.
Key Deliverables
- Deliver month end and year end close, balance sheet integrity, statutory reporting and audit
- Take full ownership of AP and AR: payment runs, invoice processing, banking controls
- Manage inventory accounting: valuation, movement tracking and reconciliation
- Strengthen the internal controls framework alongside an ongoing ERP programme
- Build the team: recruit, onboard and develop people as European expansion adds entities and volume
- Work closely with IT, BI and FP&A to embed and optimise the ERP
Your Background
- A Head of Finance or Financial Controller with experience leading an in-house team of 10 or more
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), three or more years at Head of Finance or Financial Controller level
- Background in a product business (retail, consumer goods, FMCG) with inventory exposure
- Strong IFRS knowledge, with a track record of building internal controls at scale
- International, multi-currency, multi entity experience
