Harmonic is pleased to partner with a newly launched media studio, founded as a sister company to an established consumer brand, built by a team of highly successful entrepreneurs with multiple exits behind them. With a strong track record of building fast-growing, category-defining businesses, they're now bringing that same instinct to media: developing a slate of original podcast and show formats designed to build engaged, influential audiences across business, culture and beyond.
The Role
This is a fully autonomous role: you'll own a show within the studio's slate end to end, from sourcing guests and running production through to the commercial side, sponsor relationships and deal terms. You'll work alongside one other colleague, each owning a distinct vertical, and support the founders directly on commercial decisions that shape how the business grows. This suits someone who can operate confidently with minimal oversight from day one: researching and landing top guests, coordinating their appearances, and closing commercial deals within your own patch. Media experience isn't required. What matters more is that you're entrepreneurial and driven, with the appetite to build and run your own mini business inside the business. Experience in project management, deal negotiation, or growing a vertical would all be relevant here. Aptitude and attitude count for more than a media background.
Responsibilities
- Own a show within the studio's slate end to end, from guest sourcing and production through to commercial delivery.
- Research, secure and coordinate guest appearances for your show.
- Source and secure podcast hosts suited to your niche audience.
- Negotiate commercial terms with hosts, sponsors and other partners, bringing strong commercial judgement to every deal.
- Identify and secure sponsors relevant to your vertical.
- Juggle multiple workstreams at once, from production schedules to sponsor pipelines, with strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Solve problems independently and entrepreneurially, adapting quickly as plans, priorities or opportunities shift.
- Liaise directly and regularly with the founders and the wider business, communicating progress, risks and opportunities clearly and proactively.
- Ad hoc tasks to support the founders on commercial strategy and decisions that shape the wider business.
What We Need to See (Essential)
- A track record of operating with real autonomy, ideally having built or run something, a project, a business, a vertical, with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with people and deal-making: sourcing, negotiating and managing relationships with hosts, sponsors or clients.
- Highly entrepreneurial, ambitious, independent, and organized.
Package:
Salary: £50,000-£70,000, flexible depending on experience
Location: London
