Reporting to the Creative Marketing Manager, you'll join Harmonic as our Creative Marketing Intern for a 12-month placement, a hands-on, fully immersive role at the heart of our marketing team. You'll support the day-to-day delivery of Harmonic's creative output across campaigns, branding collateral, client materials and helping to bring our brand to life across every channel.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a creative, curious self-starter who is passionate about design (ideally living in Canva!), is excited by what AI and automation can do for the team, and loves the craft of making things look great, whether that's a slick LinkedIn carousel, a short-form video edit, a GIF, a pitch deck, or the occasional illustration.
You'll work closely with the Creative Marketing Manager on commercial documents, e-marketing, social content, event assets and video, while also being given the space to experiment, suggest new tools, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
As well as great commercial potential, we are also incredibly proud of our culture. Based in the heart of Shoreditch in London, we are a values-led recruitment agency with an inclusive and non-corporate culture who achieved B Corp Certification in 2022. We get together for regular socials including karaoke nights, pizza making classes, company away days and events which helps shape our fun and inclusive culture.
Responsibilities:- Design and produce brochures, pitch decks, one-pagers and internal communications that are polished, on-brand and built to impress.
- Ensure brochures and internal documents are up to date and make edits when necessary.
- Support the Search team with candidate packs, update packs, reports and ad hoc requests.
- Take ownership of Harmonic's article creation system including managing the schedule, coordinating content and ensuring articles go out consistently and on time.
- Support ad hoc creative projects across the business, including reports, presentations and other materials as needed.
- Support the Creative Marketing Manager day-to-day across all design, content and campaign work.
- Create graphics and visuals across a range of formats in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite: social posts, LinkedIn carousels, GIFs, e-marketing templates, event invites and ad hoc requests from the team.
- Work with our wider marketing team to produce short-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram and internal use such as filming, editing and adding captions, music and motion graphics using tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe or similar.
- Bring an AI-literate mindset to the team: use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up drafting, resizing, transcribing, repurposing and ideating content and proactively flag automations that could make the team more efficient.
- Assist with event marketing from pre-event invites and slides to on-the-day support, photography and post-event content.
- Support backend website edits and small content updates where required (full training given).
- A genuine love of design and visual storytelling.
- A strong portfolio or examples of your work matter much more than a CV.
- Confident in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comfortable building design work from scratch, not just editing templates.
- AI literate and curious about automation - you've experimented with AI tools and are excited to use them.
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva similar) and an interest in growing them.
- Strong attention to detail, organised, and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
