Harmonic are delighted to be working on a retained basis alongside an extremely exciting, fast growth Talent Management Agency centred within the creator economy, in the search for a sales development representative to join their consistently expanding team.
The Business:
Our client works with content creators across the YouTube and media space, providing real support to help navigate through the online, digital landscape. They are an exclusive, invite-only platform designed to ensure clients receive the highest level of support and services to those that upload original content and have large followings. Service offerings include sponsorships and brand integrations, multi-platform content strategy, and content ID and Digital Rights Management.
This extremely culture-driven business focuses on values including respect, fun, knowledge, and putting their clients' interests at the forefront of their work. With a global headcount of 35 and scaling, and turnover at £30 million and growing year-on-year, this is an exciting opportunity to grow alongside and have a real impact on the expansion of the business.
The Role:
This newly created role represents a unique opportunity to work under the leadership of a fantastic team of experienced YouTube and digital experts. The role supports flexible, hybrid working and requires a highly motivated and driven candidate with a growth mindset.
This sales position will see you spearheading client acquisition efforts, identifying and engaging high-potential Talent. You will scout, pitch, and onboard creators to their selective platform for management and/or rights management. The ideal candidate combines exceptional communication skills with a passion for the creator economy, using both to connect with creative professionals and understand their unique needs.
There are clear progression opportunities available to the successful candidate, with the client keen on organic growth and development. Due to the nature of the business, there will be exposure to working with some of the most exciting clients in the YouTube space, making it perfect for lovers of the sector.
Duties:
- Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Outreach: Gather contact information from social media or websites, engage prospects over email or messaging, introduce our products/services, and understand their problems (recognised or not) and how these can be solved.
- Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on their unique needs, growth potential, and fit with our value proposition and solutions.
- Pitching & Campaigning: Create documents and dossiers relating to potential clients to support senior team members in sales conversations.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings/calls for the sales team with qualified leads to ensure a seamless transition.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and the talent management team to share insights and optimise lead generation strategies.
- CRM Management: Own and maintain accurate records of all deals within HubSpot and Monday.com, including updates on every interaction, task setting to ensure deals progress as quickly as possible, and track progress against monthly individual and team quotas.
- Feedback Loop: Provide feedback on prospect responses and market trends to help refine messaging and product offerings.
- Onboarding: Be responsible for the admin relating to the onboarding of new talent and support the wider team with good organisation skills to ensure new clients are managed correctly.
What we'd like to see (essential):
- Circa 12 months minimum sales/prospecting/lead gen experience.
- Well organised with strong communication skills and a driven work ethic.
- General interest in the social media/content creation landscape.
What we'd like to see (bonus):
- CRM software exposure (Hubspot/Monday.com).
- Previous talent brand agency experience.
Salary: up to £36k + uncapped commission structure (Year 1 OTE £55k | Year 2 OTE £60k)
Location: London (hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 from home)
