Our client is a well-established, globally recognised music technology business with a passionate customer base and a brilliant culture at the intersection of music and tech. The business is in an exciting phase of growth and investment, and the London-based finance team is expanding to match.
This is a junior FP&A position for someone with at least 1-2 years of finance experience who wants to specialise in financial planning and analysis. You will work directly alongside the Head of FP&A and gain regular exposure to the CEO and senior leadership team, supporting forecasting, budgeting, and board-level reporting across the business.
This is a pure FP&A role rather than an accounting one. There is a separate accounting team handling transactional finance, meaning your focus will be on analysis, planning, and commercial insight rather than systems and processing. There is also the potential for exposure to corporate finance and corporate development projects as the business continues to grow, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone ambitious to build a genuinely strategic skill set early in their career.
The team is small but high-performing, and the culture is open, collaborative, and creative. You will sit in an open-plan office alongside marketing, label, and leadership teams, so we are looking for someone warm, proactive, and confident communicating with everyone from the C-suite to creative teams.
- Support forecasting and budgeting cycles across the business
- Forecast analysis with clear, insightful commentary
- Build and maintain financial models in Excel
- Work closely with the Head of FP&A on planning and reporting deliverables
- Partner with non-finance teams across the business, translating numbers into clear commercial insight
- Potential exposure to corporate finance and corporate development projects
- Ad hoc tasks/analysis and support for the leadership team as the business develops
1-2 years of finance experience with meaningful FP&A exposure (forecasting, budgeting, analysis), not purely transactional finance.
Strong Excel skills
A genuine passion for music and the creative industries
What We’d Like to See (Bonus)
Experience within a subscription or platform business model.
Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility.
Genuine scope to grow with a scaling finance team, with exposure to senior leadership from day one.
We actively welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and assure you that every candidate will be thoughtfully considered for the roles we represent, without regard to race, religion, gender expression, disability, or sexual orientation.
