A Global Retail Icon based in London is seeking a Finance Controller. Harmonic are excited to be partnering with one of the most recognised and beloved consumer brands in the world. This is a business with a huge following, a global footprint, and a product that is known for its quality and longevity.
This is a newly created Group Financial Controller position. Reporting into the Finance Director and sitting at the top of a large finance team, you will own the full financial control and accounts payable function for the group.
You will be the engine room of the finance function: the person who ensures that every number is right, every process is tight, and every team member knows exactly what they are doing and why it matters. You will be a trusted partner to the wider finance leadership team, with a remit that touches every corner of the function.
This is a role for someone who leads from the front and who builds teams, fixes problems before they escalate, and brings genuine gravitas to a function that touches every corner of a complex, multi-entity, multi-currency business.
What you’ll be doing:
- End-to-end financial control across the group, including month-end and year-end close, balance sheet integrity, and statutory and audit processes.
- Full ownership of the Accounts Payable function.
