Harmonic are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a high-growth VC Backed SaaS business on the search for an Interim Head of Finance to provide immediate leadership cover across a busy and established finance function. This is an urgent requirement. The business is scaling fast and needs someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can get up to speed quickly, and provide the structure and coordination that a growing finance team needs during a critical period. This role will suit a highly organised finance professional who is keen to make an immediate impact.
The Role
Reporting directly into the CEO, you will act as the central point of coordination across the finance function, managing an existing team and ensuring key workstreams stay on track. This is as much about people, communication, and follow-through as it is about finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the existing finance team across financial control, collections, management accounting, and analysis, maintaining momentum and surfacing issues quickly.
- Act as a trusted right hand to the CEO, escalating problems, resolving bottlenecks, and keeping priorities moving.
- Maintain oversight of the cap table via Carta, managing queries and ensuring smooth coordination.
- Support the renewal of an existing banking facility, coordinating process owners and keeping the workstream on track.
- Maintain cash flow visibility and provide clear, actionable financial insight to senior leadership.
What We Need to See (Essential)
- Proven experience at Head of Finance level within a scaling or fast-paced SaaS business.
- Strong team management experience.
- Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to bring structure and clarity from day one.
- Familiarity with Carta and cap table management.
- Prior SaaS exposure and the commercial awareness to get up to speed fast.
- A practical, hands-on mindset and genuine ability to hit the ground running.
- Strong communication skills and confidence operating closely with a CEO.
