Harmonic are proud to be partnering with a fast growth consumer brand on the hire of an Interim CFO to guide the business through its next phase of growth. The company has seen exceptional momentum across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels and is now strengthening its leadership team with a commercially minded, hands-on CFO who can bring structure, clarity, and strategic direction.
The Role
- Own financial strategy, cash management, and long-term planning during a period of rapid expansion
- Partner with the SLT to translate performance into clear, actionable insights
- Lead the production of high-quality board and commercial reporting
- Support scaling across multi-channel operations (retail, wholesale, D2C)
- Reconcile the transition from Xero to NetSuite (or similar), owning system selection and implementation
- Strengthen internal controls, processes, and financial frameworks
- Drive automation and improvements in data integrity & reporting
- Provide leadership to the finance team
- Uplift capability across the team and embed a high-performance culture
- Develop improved modelling, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Support margin analysis, cost management, and pricing strategy
- Contribute to discussions around investment, fundraising, and future expansion
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader within a fast-growth SME
- Proven track record in finance systems upgrades (NetSuite beneficial)
- Strong process-builder with the ability to implement controls in a scaling environment
- Commercial mindset and confidence working with non-finance leaders
- Experience managing and developing small, high-performing teams
Nice to Have
- Exposure to consumer products, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, or multi-site environments
- Experience with stock, supply chain, or lightweight manufacturing operations
