Harmonic is a specialist search firm for the start-up and scale-up world, focused on expertly growing Finance & Operations teams. We place world-class people into some of the most exciting, fast-growing businesses around, working closely with the investors behind them. We're a genuine scale-up story ourselves, with offices in London, Manchester and Boston, and still growing across the UK and US.

We're also a Certified B Corp, and an early one in our field. Our values of Knowledge, Respect and Community sit at the heart of how we treat our people, our candidates and our clients.

As a business, we're delivering consistent year-on-year revenue growth, and we know that sustaining our ambitious scale means continuing to hire high-potential and best-in-class talent.

As our Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll own and lead the internal talent function that powers Harmonic's growth across the UK and US, hiring everyone from graduates through to senior billers. You'll report to our Head of People & Impact and work closely with our Founder and CEO. This isn't a brief-taking role. You'll own the function, shape our talent strategy, and have a genuine seat at the table in decisions about where the business goes next.

What We Need to See

  • A strong internal talent acquisition or agency recruitment background, with genuine headhunting experience (proactively attracting people, not just screening applicants)
  • Experience hiring recruiters, graduates, or commercially-leaning professionals
  • Comfortable across the full spectrum: graduate-level, higher-volume hiring as well as credible senior search
  • Strong judgment in assessing for raw traits, potential and culture fit
  • Experience working within a start-up or scale-up, values-driven environment
  • Bonus points: a genuine appetite for AI and automation in recruitment.

The Package

  • A 4.5 day working week
  • A one-week work-from-anywhere policy
  • Private health insurance with Vitality
  • Funded therapy
  • A one-month paid sabbatical after five years
  • 50% off gym membership
  • Company weekend away, plus regular trips and socials
  • Funded home-working setup
