Finance Manager | Premium Beverage Brand | Central London / Hybrid
Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a growing premium beverage brand in their search for a Finance Manager. This is an ideal first move into industry for an audit-trained accountant (ideally having worked in retail or stock), offering broad exposure across the full finance cycle, a line management role, and the chance to work closely with a high-calibre Head of Finance. Industry-trained candidates are very welcome too.
The Client
Our client is an ambitious premium beverage brand with a growing international presence, building a reputation for exceptional quality. The business is entering a strong new phase of growth, with revenue forecast to rise by around 20% next year and new products and markets on the way.
It's a small, close-knit team with no egos, and you get the variety and pace of an SME with the security of a larger group behind you.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance in a team of three, the Finance Manager will take full ownership of month end and line manage the Accounts Assistant. It's a broad role covering management accounts, statutory accounts, audit, budgeting, cash flow, payroll and payments - ideal for someone looking to go down the Financial Controller track long term.
This is an ideal step up for a bright, ambitious accountant who wants their first Finance Manager role. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance who is keen to upskill and closely train this individual, gain line management experience, and once you're settled, there's room to take on specific projects that interest you.
Key Responsibilities
- Line manage and develop the Accounts Assistant
- Own the month-end close and management accounts pack
- Prepare the analysis for the monthly leadership team meeting, including sales performance by channel
- Analyse distributor and sales data to show how the business is trading across markets
- Own the monthly cash flow and forecast updates, and support the annual budget
- Lead the year end and audit season, and prepare the statutory accounts and group reporting
- Own stock accounting and costing
- Drive improvements across Xero and Power BI, and lead business projects as you grow into the role
- Oversee payroll, payment runs and the ledgers, and prepare VAT, duty and ONS returns
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), ideally with around 1-2 years' post-qualification experience
- A background in audit (ideally mid-tier or smaller firms with a retail focus) or an industry finance role
- Experience leading or supervising others
- Strong technical accounting skills and confidence preparing management and statutory accounts
- Exposure to stock and physical goods
- Clients or experience in food, drink, retail, fashion, FMCG, ecommerce, manufacturing, or consumer brands
- Xero, Cin7 or Power BI experience
Location: Central London (3 days in-office)
Start Date: ASAP/2026 start ideal (however can be flexible)

We actively welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and assure you that every candidate will be thoughtfully considered for the roles we represent, without regard to race, religion, gender expression, disability, or sexual orientation.
