Harmonic Finance | Certified B Corp is recruiting a Senior Accountant to support EMEA operations for a fast-growing global music and entertainment business. This role combines technical finance with commercial impact in a dynamic, international environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning the day-to-day accounting across multiple labels and entities (journals, reconciliations, ledgers)
  • Taking the lead on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Reviewing and processing artist advances and related costs
  • Reconciling statements from DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.)
  • Supporting the delivery of financial statements under GAAP/IFRS
  • Helping with tax filings and statutory reporting across the region
  • Providing input into budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensuring internal controls and financial policies are followed
  • Spotting ways to improve processes and reporting efficiency

What we’re looking for (Essential):

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
  • 3+ years’ professional accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
  • Detail-focused, organised, and comfortable working across multiple priorities
  • Strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with global teams

What we’d like to see (Bonus):

  • Experience in music, media, or entertainment
  • Familiarity with royalty accounting
  • Understanding of music revenue streams (DSPs, publishing, UGC, PROs)
  • Ability to navigate artist/distribution contracts
  • A genuine love of music and creativity

Location: Remote - occasional in-person meet-ups in Manchester or Liverpool
