Are you a meticulous and proactive finance professional looking to join a purpose-led, design-driven company? This is a rare opportunity to become the financial backbone of a small but ambitious creative studio redefining luxury through sustainability and craftsmanship.
The Role
As the studio continues to grow, we’re looking for a Junior Finance Manager to take full ownership of the financial function. Reporting to the COO (who has been covering finance to date), you’ll be responsible for everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to preparing monthly management accounts. The team is small, creative, and passionate - so part of your role will involve gently guiding budget awareness across the board.
The pace can vary—from full-on busy to quieter reflective periods—so we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, steady, and comfortable working independently. This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping including transaction categorisation and bank reconciliations
- Handle all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Maintain accurate cashflow forecasting and reporting
- Process payroll
- Prepare VAT returns in collaboration with external accountants
- Support year-end accounts and tax return processes
- Contribute to quarterly performance reviews and financial process improvements
- Work in GBP and EUR to reflect multi-currency project activity
What We Need to See (Essential)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a bookkeeping or finance role
- Strong hands-on experience with management accounts and cashflow reporting
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks (or similar)
- Confident working with multi-currency accounts (GBP and EUR)
- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both structured and creative team members
Package
£35,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Living Wage and Living Pension employer
Office-based, full-time (08:30–17:00 Mon–Thurs, 08:30–16:00 Fri)
