Harmonic Finance is partnering exclusively with an exciting founder‐led consumer wellness brand in the search for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer. This is a rare opportunity to join a high‐growth, entrepreneurial brand at a pivotal stage of its journey. Having built a differentiated product offering, loyal customer base, and strong market presence, the business is now entering its next phase of scale and is looking for a commercially minded CFO to help shape what comes next.

Operating in a fast‐moving, founder‐led environment, this role requires a finance leader who has grown with a consumer brand, understands the pace and ambiguity of scaling businesses, and can act as a genuine strategic partner to the Founder and leadership team.

The Role

As CFO, you will play a central role in helping drive the business forward, bringing commercial insight, financial rigour, and operational discipline across the organisation. Working closely with the Founder and senior leadership team, you will help shape strategy, support critical decision‐making, and ensure the business is positioned to scale in a sustainable and profitable way. The successful candidate will be a hands‐on operator who enjoys working close to the business, challenging thinking, identifying opportunities, and helping translate ambitious growth plans into clear financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to the Founder and senior leadership team, supporting key commercial and operational decisions
  • Drive commercial performance across pricing, margin, channel mix, customer economics, and profitability
  • Own cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning, ensuring clear visibility and disciplined capital allocation
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and long‐term strategic planning
  • Strengthen financial controls, reporting, and operational discipline as the business scales
  • Deliver meaningful financial insight to support faster, better decision‐making across the business
  • Lead systems, process, and reporting improvements to support future growth
  • Support strategic initiatives including financing, fundraising, and potential M&A activity where relevant
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high‐performing finance team

Candidate Profile

  • Proven CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leadership experience within a founder‐led, scaling consumer brand (£20m–£100m revenue)
  • Background in wellness, supplements, nutrition, beauty, personal care, or food & beverage brands, ideally across D2C, eCommerce, retail, or omnichannel environments
  • Strong track record in cash management, working capital optimisation, and capital allocation within growth‐stage businesses
  • Highly commercial and strategic, with the ability to influence decisions across pricing, margin, investment, and growth priorities
  • Experience building, scaling, or transforming finance functions in high‐growth businesses
  • Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • We are specifically seeking candidates whose experience has been built within scaling consumer brands rather than large corporate or highly structured enterprise environments.

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £180,000–£220,000 + bonus + equity potential
