As part of the Mental health transformation, another exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical/counselling psychologist CBT therapist with the capability/interest to deliver evidence-based and evidence-led interventions for people who are presenting with psychosis. We are currently offering another part-time 6 session post in the borough of Redbridge NELFT. This post is aimed at enhancing Redbridge psychosis pathway team capacity to deliver a creative, evidence-based service, responsive to the needs of our service users, families and carers.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a core member of the secondary care psychological intervention service which offers evidence-based CBTp / EMDR and Family interventions for psychosis.
  • Deliver evidence-based and evidence-led interventions for people presenting with psychosis.
  • Provide excellence in supervision and practice development within the Redbridge secondary care psychological services team.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology and registration with the Health Professions Council/BABCP accreditation.
  • Experience of working in an evidence-based way with clients presenting with complex non-psychosis.

  • Postgraduate level qualification.
  • Working with complex clients.
  • Interest in psychosis (desirable).

Benefits

  • High Cost Area Supplement (Outer London) 15% of basic salary (minimum £4,313 to a maximum £5,436 pro rata for part time).
  • High Cost Area Supplement (Fringe) 5% of basic salary (minimum £1,192 to a maximum £2,011 pro rata for part time).
  • Pro rata session per week CPD.

  • Location: Melmead house, Rodney road, Wanstead, E112DH.
  • Contract: Permanent Part-time.
  • Salary: £47,810 to £54,710 a year per annum pro rata (plus HCAS).
  • Probationary period applies.
