Support Care Worker
Would you like a job where your care and support can make a difference every day?
We’re looking for Support Care Workers to join our team. You’ll support people with everyday tasks such as washing, dressing, meals and medication. You’ll also help them enjoy the activities and hobbies that matter to them, and make their own choices wherever possible.
You’ll work with the people we support, their families and other professionals. We’re looking for someone who is kind, communicates well and wants to provide good-quality support.
At HarmonI, we believe in Dignity and Respect, Learning and Reflection, Working Together, and Commitment to Quality Care and Support. If these values matter to you too, we’d love to hear from you.
We have full time, part time and bank opportunities available.
About the role
As a Support Care Worker, you’ll help people live as independently as possible in their own homes. You’ll offer support with everyday tasks, personal care and activities, while respecting each person’s choices and treating them with dignity.
You’ll get to know the people you support and work alongside a friendly team to help make each day a good one. No two days are quite the same, and the support you give can make a real difference.
We’ll help you build your skills through training, with the opportunity to work towards a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
Note: this position is subject to an enhanced with barred list AccessNI check. Copies of the relevant policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders, handling and storage of disclosure information as well as the AccessNI code of practice are available on request. Please note that having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position with HarmonI.
