We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a part-time, on-site position in Leicester. The Senior Care Assistant will be responsible for providing compassionate care to individuals, as well as overseeing care practices. Daily duties include:
- Assisting residents with personal care
- Medication rounds
- Supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing
- Monitoring health conditions
- Managing care plans
- Fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ensuring a supportive and safe environment
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Manual Handling and safe handling of individuals
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Experience in Dementia Care and general Caregiving practices
- Empathy, patience, and a dedication to providing person-centered care
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care (Mandatory Training, Including Medication Administration)
