Harlowbury Primary School are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our successful team. The ideal candidate would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the pupils to achieve. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will work alongside, and individually from, class teachers. Part time applications will also be considered.
Responsibilities- Support classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
- Model positive behaviours and encourage pupils to achieve.
- Provide individualised support to pupils as required.
- Assist with classroom management and creating a supportive learning environment.
- Level 3 qualification (or currently working towards achieving).
- Ability to use ICT and learn new skills.
- Experience working in partnership with a specialist teacher to support pupils’ needs.
- Two week October half term.
