Location: Harlow Bros Long Whatton, Hathern Road, Long Whatton, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE12 5DE

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 44.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly between 7.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, times to be agreed with line manager, with a 30-minute lunch break and a minimum of 26 Saturday mornings per year from 8am to 12pm, generally worked on alternate weekends.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Sales Assistant to join our team in Long Whatton. As a Customer Sales Assistant you will offer a knowledgeable, helpful, and professional service to our customers and undertake various different duties.

What you’ll be doing as a Customer Sales Assistant:

  • Greeting and serving customers on the yard and from the trade counter.
  • Manual rack filling with timber and sheet materials.
  • Serving customers on the Trade Counter.
  • Forklift duties as applicable to your individual skill set and development.
  • Machining duties as your skill set develops.
  • To provide a prompt, polite, helpful and professional service to customers in branch and always promoting a positive company image.

Your Skills:

  • Ability to identify and locate products quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to provide a courteous and professional approach to customers.
  • Ability to self-motivate, organise, and execute tasks.
  • Ability to work safely and cleanly.
  • Good basic numerate and literate skills.
  • Forklift license desirable but not essential.
