Operating from 40,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space, the company employs over 100 team members across 2 sites (Essex and Scottish Borders) and uses the latest sheet metal technology and techniques. The organization is dedicated to engineering excellence, reliable service, and long-term client relationships, consistently delivering fast, value-added solutions that exceed expectations.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to support our manufacturing business on a flexible, interim basis. The immediate priority will be helping us recruit a number of key engineering and management positions, but the role will also provide practical HR support and advice to the management team.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced and commercially pragmatic.
- Comfortable working in an SME manufacturing environment.
- Confident dealing directly with managers and employees.
- Able to recruit and assess senior candidates.
- Able to proactively use recruitment platforms and head hunt if appropriate.
- Hands-on and organised rather than purely strategic.
- Able to challenge management constructively when necessary.
