We are looking for a passionate and skilled professional to teach electrical to fulltime level 1 students, while also delivering elements of multi trade training (up to level 2) where required.
You do not need a teaching qualification to work in Further Education, just a passion to educate tomorrow’s workforce. We will support the successful applicant to gain their teaching qualification whilst they work at no cost! **.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging theory and practical lessons for level 1 electrical students and contribute to Multi Skills provision (e.g., basic carpentry, tiling, plastering, or general construction).
- Prepare, plan, and deliver learning sessions that motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.
- Provide practical demonstrations and hands on training to develop learners’ industry ready skills.
- Assess student performance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Support individual learning needs and help remove barriers to learning.
- Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes success and independence.
- Stay current with industry trends, developments, and best practice.
We would love to meet with you if you have;
- Assessor qualification (A1) and/or Verifier qualification (V1) or are willing to work towards this
- Industry experience within the construction trades to include electrical at a foundation level
- Experience teaching or training others
- Level 4 or above teaching qualification or are willing to work towards this
- GCSE Maths & English at a grade C or above or equivalent
