Unqualified Teacher up to- £35,063 per annum FTE

Location: Harlow

Harlow College is currently looking for dynamic and inspirational individuals to support adult learners with the development of specific vocational skills and knowledge to enable them to gain new expertise and progress their careers.

We are looking for industry experts or experienced teachers/trainers to train the future generation of accredited counsellors. We are looking for an experienced Counsellor to teach across the following vocational courses:

  • Level 2 counselling
  • Level 3 counselling
  • Higher National Certificate in Counselling (Level 4)
  • Higher National Diploma in Counselling (Level 5)

What we are looking for:

Ideally a Level 5 qualification in counselling but candidates with a Level 4 qualification in counselling would be considered.

Must have experience of working in a counselling

Must have membership to the BACP or equivalent professional body

Must have a Level 2 English and Maths, or equivalent

These courses are delivered via face-to-face classroom teaching. The successful candidate will be required to have a flexible approach to working, as some courses may be delivered during the evening.
