About the team
Minor works is an internal projects team which assists the College in large scale refurbishments and improvements to College Estates. The team consists of decorators, electricians and plumbers – covering a wide range of trades.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the team with the completion of internal projects and ad-hoc requests made to the team
- To assist trade specialists with tasks within their skill set
- Communicating with other teams within the college
What we are looking for
- Have a good level of English and maths, ideally GCSE grade 4 or equivalent
- Have experience or education in a building trade
- Have attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage with people
