The £11 million Stansted Airport College opened in September 2018 and we are seeking to appoint a technician to support and assist with the preparation of learning materials and equipment for the workshop, assist with the general day to day running of the workshop and supervise trainees on a regular basis. The College is a partnership between London Stansted Airport and Harlow College – the first of its kind at any airport in the country. The centre has purpose built, industry standard facilities providing training for a large number of young people each year.
About the role
Working with the Engineering team at Stansted you will assist with the ordering and preparation of learning materials and equipment for the workshop, assist with the general day to day running of the workshop and supervise trainees on a regular basis. There will be some cleaning duties in the workshop. The college offers Engineering programmes in the following areas: Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft components, Performing Engineering Operations.

- Have some relevant experience
- Have a willingness to learn
- Have an understanding of the relevant Health and Safety regulations
- Be first aid trained or willing to undertake the training
- The successful candidate should have attained Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.
