What we are looking for:
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, qualification
- Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Practical engineering experience, ideally within machining, manufacturing, maintenance, mechatronics or a related engineering environment is preferred.
- An understanding of engineering workshop Health and Safety.
- Good practical and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with young people and colleagues.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider teaching and support team.
- You don’t need to have a qualification in teaching or assessing, just a passion for Engineering, strong communication skills and a willingness to train on the job.
