Location: Harlow Bros Nottingham, Teal Park Industrial Estate, Cyan Cl, Nottingham, NG14 5JX.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 44.5 Hours per week to be worked flexibly between 7.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, times to be agreed with line manager, with a 30-minute lunch break and a minimum of 26 Saturday mornings per year from 8am to 12pm, generally worked on alternate weekends.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Lorry Driver to join our team in Nottingham. The purpose of this role is to deliver goods from the Nottingham branch to customers at a variety of destinations in and around the branch’s surrounding area on a Hiab Crane lorry, 7.5t Lorry or a Pickup truck.

What you’ll be doing as a Lorry Driver:

  • Supervising the offload of goods at the destination manually yourself and/or with onsite personnel.
  • Driving to delivery destinations and in reasonable time, working to achieve the expected daily number of deliveries as appropriate.
  • Delivering timber materials to the surrounding area.
  • Flexibility across yard tasks aside of driving duties, as appropriate and if ever required.

Your Skills:

  • Good knowledge of surrounding area.
  • Driving License to Category C (Class 2).
  • Basic literate and numerate ability.
  • Physical ability to work manually and at the required pace.
  • Driver CPC.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Lorry Mounted Crane Certification (preferable).
